If you love Atlanta, you'll love everything about the reality show Love & Hip Hop Atlanta! It is us in that is is classy, ratchet, funny, and smart all at the same time. It is a great look in what it is like to live among the big houses, flashy lifestyle, and down-home attitude of hip hop starts (or wannabe hip hop stars) in the black capital of the South.

Being from Atlanta give one a special insiders point of view because you know where the places are that they visit and it provides a lot more context to the show. For example, most Atlanta reality stars don't even live in the actual city. Rasheeda lives in the country and the other in random suburbs of Atlanta that are like 45 minutes away where the houses are big and cheap. Sure, the houses look big and fancy on TV, but if you are from here you know the truth.

Location is also an important factor when it come to their businesses. Karlie Redd brags about having a store, but what most people don't know is that the mall where the store is located is like one of the worst ghetto malls in Atlanta, not very impressive. On the other hand, Rasheeda Shows off her boss bitch skills by opening her store at Lenox Mall - a much more upscale, exclusive, and expensive mall.

This insiders look really gives the show a reality check because things are not what they appear on TV. It really makes their lifestyle look more like an average person than a hip hop star's lifestyle.

Same goes for their "booming" music careers. Its funny that when it comes to their big events, parties, and performances; most of them are in very small and unpopular venues. What might look like performance showcase is actually a strip club or they even had a a "fancy" dinner at places that are just like going to The Cheesecake Factory - not very glamorous!

Tips for Going to TomorrowWorld In Atlanta

If you are coming to Atlanta for the first time on the way to TomorrowWorld, good luck! Atlanta isn’t as easy to navigate like normal cities like New York City, so below are some tips for new arrivals.

• Driving Directions: Atlanta’s city streets are planned out in a grid so a lot of newcomers get lost easily. For one thing, many streets have similar names like Peachtree Road, Peachtree Industrial, and Peachtree Circle. Also, look out for streets that turn into a different street or o in a different direction.
• Sunday Alcohol Sales: Atlanta used to not sell any alcohol on Sundays, but a new law now lets you buy booze after 12:30 on Sundays. Just keep this in mind when you go for brunch because you’ll have to wait for your mimosa a bit if you get there early.
• Local DJs: There is a great techno/house music scene here and it is run by local DJs. They plan the parties and have great connects when it comes to TommorowWorld. You can catch all of them at the local DJ stage, but one of my favorites is Komron.
• TomorrowWorld After Parties: Even if you don’t make it to the main event, there will be plenty of after parties to support TommorowWorld. This is great to catch one of the headliner DJs for cheaper or out and about in town. I recommend venues such as The Soundtable, Music Room, and Lava Lounge.
• Food: Try some local cuisine while you are here. There are a bunch of places you can stop while driving up that ATLiens love like Chick-fil-A, Waffle House, and Cracker Barrel.

Esther Does Cocaine for the First Time

Esther is a high-strung, perfectionist with tons of energy. So it if you knew her, you would think it is strange that she would want to do cocaine, She definitely doesn't need it because she is full of energy all the time and barely can handle coffee. She drinks her coffee in a chai late so that it is not to strong and her ideal weekend is doing charity work or going to networking events.

Since Esther's lifestyle is so active and full of basic activities such as brunch and shopping at the Gap, it is no wonder she doesn't have much time to hit the Atlanta party scene. However, every once in a while Esther get's convinced to go out for special occasions like birthdays. After all, it is the proper thing to do and Esther is all about manners!

On one special birthday occasion, Esther got invited to an afterparty. Since afterparties usually consist of hook ups and drugs it was strange that she actually made it out. It was her endless energy and enthusiasm  that led to her continuing to party when she arrived at the afterparty at 3 AM. Once the cocaine was out, it was also said enthusiasm. upitty optimism, and a couple of drinks that made it seem like trying cocaine would be a good idea.

Needless to say her first-time cocaine experience was atypical of most cocaine users. With fair warning, she was told not to do it, "Don't do it. You can't handle it." Her friend and said, "You already have so much energy. You don't need it!"

Esther proceeds to take a bump of coke and says, "I don't feel anything.". Everyone starts laughing and says "Ok, whatever," knowing that it will hit her in a couple of minutes. After a short pause, Esther proceeds to talk non-stop about how and why she thinks cocaine should be legal (lol). At 6 AM, Esther is still going. After actively participating with the coke heads, she decides to go home at 8 AM - still no sleep and no end in sight.

While her sleeping friend waits for her back at home, she arrives announcing, "I did coke!" as she burst through the door. Startled and half awake, her friend grumbles "Go to sleep." Esther replies, "I can't. I have so much to do. Go to the grocery store, clean, pool party..." as she jumps on the computer and starts replying to various emails. She then left the house and did't fall asleep until that night. "I don't feel anything, yeah right!"
